The self-proclaimed head of the Donetsk national Republic Alexander Zakharchenko said that the first shipment of coal was sent to Russia. This was reported by “Donetsk news Agency”.
“Today is the first 95 cars of coal have gone in the direction of Russia”, — said Zakharchenko.
He stressed that the party is “a trial”. The establishment deliveries, according to Zakharchenko, would take up to two months.
“There are problems with the sale and with certain types of documents, but the staff is working almost around the clock”, — quotes the head of the DND “Interfax”.
Zakharchenko also invited to “remember where production has historically gone before.”
February 15, the Ukrainian authorities have introduced emergency measures in the energy sector. The cause of this was the blockade of the groups of railway communication with the Donbas, where Ukraine has ceased to flow coal. President Petro Poroshenko has warned that the consequences of the energy crisis may be the loss of $2 billion and the loss of 300 jobs.
March 1 was the deadline of the ultimatum that was put forward to Kiev the leaders of the DNI and LC. In response to the blockade, they introduced a special external management on all Ukrainian enterprises and announced the termination of the supply of coal Ukraine.
