The foreign Ministry reiterated the call to Israel’s Ambassador over air strikes at Palmyra

The Russian foreign Ministry called the Israeli Ambassador to Moscow, Harry Coren to discuss air strikes, the Israeli air force near Palmyra. This was told by Deputy head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs, presidential special representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov, reports “RIA Novosti”.

He said that he really asked Coren to clarify the situation. To the question, whether expressed Moscow’s concern of the incident, Bogdanov replied in the affirmative.

“Yes, of course, because if we have a consistent channel of communication, we would like to make this channel more effective, to avoid misunderstandings about who is doing what,” said he.
