Ukraine’s decision to ban Yulia Samoilova to enter the country is “outrageous” and “inhumane” act, said Deputy foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin, reports “Interfax”.
The security service of Ukraine has banned Samoilova, which was to represent Russia at the international song contest “Evrovidinie” in Kiev to enter the country within three years.
“This is another outrageous, cynical and inhuman act of the Kiev authorities,” Karasin said.
That Samoilova for three years denied entry to Ukraine, said the representative of the SBU Elena Gitlyanskaya. In 2015 Samolov performed at the festival “the World of sport and good” in the Crimea, where he arrived from Russia. According to Ukrainian legislation, the entry into the territory of the Crimea must be sanctioned by the Ukrainian authorities, as in the understanding of Kiev Peninsula is “temporarily occupied territory”.
First channel reported that the shooting will represent Russia at “Eurovision-2017” with the song Flame Is Burning, March 12. The next day, the SBU began checking the possibility of entering Yulia Samoilova in Ukraine.
