The US government has imposed sanctions against eight Russian companies, according to TASS with reference to the representative of the US administration.
According to the interlocutor of the Agency, the new sanctions are not linked with the foreign policy of Russia and the annexation of Crimea. Fall under the restrictions of the company, said TASS, broke the American national legislation on non-proliferation in respect of Iran, North Korea and Syria from 2009. The essence of the claims the source did not elaborate.
As said the Agency, in the black list includes joint-stock company (JSC) “Rosoboronexport”, JSC “150 aircraft repair plant”, foreign economic Association “Aviaexport”, JSC “Scientific-production Association “Basalt”, JSC “Scientific and production Corporation “engineering Design Bureau”, Ulyanovsk Institute of civil aviation named after chief Marshal of aviation Bugaev, the Ural training center of civil aviation, the air force Academy named after Professor Zhukovsky and Gagarin.
As has declared in conversation with Agency “RIA Novosti” the representative of US state Department, “the sanctions were the result of a regularly scheduled evaluation of action as required by the law.” He also noted that “these sanctions are not linked to broader economic restrictions imposed after 2014”, which was introduced after the annexation of Crimea to Russia.
