“Interfax” was exploded in the subway the suicide bomber

“According to one version, the explosive device in the metro of St. Petersburg was detonated by the suicide bomber. According to preliminary data it 23-the summer native of Central Asia”, — said the interlocutor of “Interfax”.

According to another source, the alleged suicide bomber was linked to radical Islamists. “Previously it is established that the man who blew himself up in the subway of St. Petersburg, was linked to banned in Russia and radical Islamic groups”, — he said.

The investigators found out, the source said that the terrorist carried the bomb in the subway in a backpack. “Discovered on the site of the remains speak in favor of the version that the explosion produced a suicide bomber, but the final conclusions can be made after the DNA examination,” — said the Agency interlocutor.

Source RIA Novosti confirmed that according to one version, the explosion made a suicide bomber. “The investigation is considering all versions of the incident. It is not excluded that the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber” — he said.

Earlier, the TV channel REN TV and the publication “Fontanka” published a screenshot from the recording surveillance cameras, which shows a man alleged to have committed an act of terrorism. On the picture you can see that a tall man with a beard and dressed in black. A source later told that this man turned himself in to police. “He saw himself on TV, he was afraid, and he went to the police,” — said the source and added that the attack is not involved.

“The fifth channel” posted a photo of the second suspect of involvement in the terrorist attack, which, according to law enforcement officials, planted an explosive device at the station “Ploschad Vosstaniya”. It was not blown up, the bomb experts defused the bomb.

The explosion in the car of the subway occurred April 3 at about 14:40 on the stretch between the metro station “Technological Institute” and “Sennaya Ploschad”. According to the National anti-terrorism Committee, the blast killed 11 people, more than 40 people were injured and were hospitalized. Another explosive device was discovered and defused at the station “Ploschad Vosstaniya”.
