Russia gave Ukraine the former head of the Kyiv traffic police

Ukraine was sent from Russia by the former head of traffic police of Kiev Nikolay Makarenko. This was announced on his page in Facebook the public Prosecutor of Republic Yury Lutsenko.

“On the eve of the Day of GAI (14 April) took place on the extradition of the former head of traffic police of gumvd of Ukraine in Kyiv Makarenko, who was wanted by the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies for systemic bribery”, — wrote Lutsenko.

It clarifies the “Ukrainian truth”, in April 2015, Makarenko was put on the international wanted list on suspicion of corruption. Later the Pechersk district court of Kiev in absentia arrested him.

Makarenko were detained in the fall of 2016 in the Moscow airport Domodedovo. About it has informed Agency “RIA Novosti” with reference to its sources. Ukrainian media with reference to sources confirmed the information on detention.

“Makarenko was hiding in Yalta, and then arrived in Moscow and wanted to go somewhere in Domodedovo detained him,” the source said “Ukrainian truth”. The source also said that Makarenko was offered a bribe to the Russian militiamen to let him go.

According to investigators, Makarenko organized corruption schemes for the registration of cars and issuance of the rights.
