“Alfa-Group” responded to the accusations of “disloyalty to the Russian leadership”


The shareholders of “Alfa Group” commented on the statement of the Ukrainian Alfa-Bank, in which the territory of Crimea and Donbass were called “occupied territories”, and the subsequent publication of a number of Russian media, which drew attention to it.

“First, “Alfa-Group” is a conglomerate of companies that for many years successfully working in various countries. According to the shareholders “alpha-Group”, “any business entity must operate in strict accordance with the laws and regulations of the country where it is present”.

The Bank noted that, in accordance with the Ukrainian legislation has ceased operations in Crimea and the Donbass, calling these areas “occupied”.

After that some Russian media, including Life, criticized the co-owner of “Alfa Group” Mikhail Fridman.

The largest shareholders of “Alfa Group”, in addition to Michael Friedman, are German Khan and Alexei Kuzmichev.
