Putin urged to distinguish between the fight against corruption and self-promotion


Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with members of the legislative Council stated that a distinction should be made between those who are fighting against corruption and those who use the fight against it as self-promotion, reports .

“We need to distinguish between those who really want to fight corruption, and those who are trying to use this as a tool in its political struggle to self-promotion. “One of them was the fight against corruption. What is the end? The multiple growth of this corruption,” — said the President of Russia.

In his words, to “various adventurers” is not used in the fight against corruption for its own purposes, it is necessary to “show people that the government is able to fight [corruption] and to do it efficiently.”
