The former owner of Cherkizovsky market Telman Ismailov was involved in the investigation of a criminal group that is suspected of committing eight murders. It is reported by “Rosbalt”, citing a source in law enforcement bodies.
According to the publication, as part of the pretrial agreement, the member of the gang Harry Belotserkovsky gave evidence against Telman Ismailov. He spoke about the eight murders committed between 2000 and 2016, which allegedly involved brothers Ismailov.
All crimes, writes “Rosbalt”, was connected with the criminal war for a number of commercial facilities in the Northern administrative district of Moscow. The victims were representatives of the “Koptevo” criminal groups and businessmen, who had a relationship with them.
In particular, Belotserkovsky said in 2000, became the witness of conversation of Telman Ismailov and Rafiq in the restaurant “Prague”, “during which they discussed the need to address “authority” Andrey Lobanov”, says “Rosbalt. Soon after that Lobanov was shot.
“To already existing cases of homicide in the near future will be added new article 210 of the criminal code (organization of criminal community)”, — quotes “Rosbalt” words of the source. According to him, Rafik Ismailov charged, and Vagif Ismayilov has absconded, however, defendants in some cases they are, the source did not elaborate.
“The question about Telman Ismailov is now resolved. It is not excluded that it too will be declared wanted,” — said the source of “Rosbalt”.
Ismailov’s brother, Rafiq, was detained on 21 November 2016 on suspicion in murder of the owner of the shopping complexes Vladimir Savkin and founder of “Lublin-motors” Yury BRILYOV. He refused to admit his guilt. As reported in the TFR, he was detained for two months.
In the case of the murder of Savkin and BRILYOV in may 2016 is also the Mehman Kerimov. Her and Kerimov was charged in a criminal case under part 2 of article 105 of the criminal code (murder of two and more persons). According to TASS, Karimov admitted his guilt.
In August 2016, the court in the claim of VTB Bank found the former owner of the Cherkizovsky market, the founder of AST group, Telman Ismailov has been bankrupt and has introduced a process of restructuring its debt. Before this court recognized Ismayilova bankrupt in 2015, but in 2016 the decision was reversed.
According to Forbes, in 2015, as Ismailov was estimated at $600 million, he included in the list of 200 richest businessmen of Russia. The main asset of the businessman until 2009 was the Cherkizovsky market which was shut down by the authorities.
In March 2017 the Arbitration court of Moscow region decided to start the implementation of ownership Ismailov.
