Volkswagen is considering the possibility of selling the brand of Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati for the revaluation of assets in the background “oil”. About it reports Reuters, citing two sources familiar with the plans of the German automaker.
According to them, Volkswagen has charged an investment Advisory firm Evercore Partners to evaluate the possible options to restore their performance, including the sale of the brand Ducati. The company was purchased in 2012 and is a member of the carmaker Audi for €860 million.
The sources specify that the Volkswagen started to search for potential buyers to listen to their suggestions. No final decisions will sold brand of the manufacturer of motorcycles.
