Moscow. May 4. INTERFAX.RU – Google Inc, the parent company Google have reached an agreement with the tax authorities of Italy on the settlement of claims underpayment of taxes, according to MarketWatch.
Under the agreement, Google will pay 306 million euros, which she paid with revenues in excess of $ 1 billion received in Italy in 2009-2015 and issued through an Irish unit. In addition, the company will be cleared of charges of underpayment of taxes during the period from 2002 to 2006.
Many European countries have claims against Google, claiming that the company seeks to reduce tax payments by swiping them through Ireland, which has one of the lowest EU corporate tax rates.
