Japan will allocate $ 40 million for infrastructure development in Asia


TOKYO, may 6 — RIA Novosti, Xenia Naka. Japan will provide $ 40 million over two years for infrastructure development in Asia through the Asian development Bank, this was at the 50th meeting of the Bank, which is now in the Japanese city of Yokohama, said the Minister of Finance of Japan Taro ASO.

“According to estimates of the Asian development Bank, the demand in infrastructure in the next 15 years will increase to 26 trillion dollars. We want to strengthen cooperation with the Asian development Bank to promote infrastructure of high quality,” said ASO.

First and foremost, investments will be directed on development of areas such as clean energy, transportation and other high-tech facilities.
