Ukraine has imposed sanctions against the Crimean winery “Massandra”


KIEV, may 16. /TASS/. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko enacted the decision of national security Council and defence of Ukraine (NSDC), which envisages the imposition of sanctions against the Crimean winery “Massandra”.

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian President.

These measures suggest that in Ukraine the company will be restricted, canceled or revoked license and other permits which are a condition for the implementation of activities. The document contains a clarification. against the “Massandra” Kiev enters and “other sanctions, which comply with the principles of their application, according to the law on sanctions”.

“Massandra”, founded in the Crimea more than 120 years ago by Prince Lev Golitsyn, is the oldest wine company and the largest in Russia for growing grapes and producing fine wines. After the reunification of the Crimea with Russia “Massandra” has devolved to the office of the President.
