Gref: growth of the Russian Federation may have a positive impact on negotiations in the framework of SPIEF


MOSCOW, may 16. /TASS/. The head of Sberbank German Gref has noted the increased activity of foreign investors in the Russian economy and expressed the hope that it will affect the signing of several agreements with potential partners at the St. Petersburg international economic forum (SPIEF), which will be held from 1 to 3 June.

“The recovery of the Russian economy. This year we are hoping for economic growth, we see growth in the country, including international investors. Russia returns to the international plane of interest”, – said Gref in an interview with TV channel “Russia 24”.

He also expects that in the framework of SPIEF will take place “many important meetings and negotiations”, which ended with the signing of contracts on specific investment projects.

In turn, the head of Vnesheconombank Sergey Gorkov, the TV channel “Russia 24” said that today, Russia’s economic growth is encouraging foreign partners. “We want to add even more optimistic. We will add that doing a conference on the blockchain, which will collect all of the world leaders in the blockchain. We believe that this technology can significantly improve the quality of management,” said Gorkov.

SPIEF will be held from 1 to 3 June 2017 in St. Petersburg. This year the forum will be combined with the motto “In search of a new balance in the global economy”.
