Moscow. June 2. INTERFAX.RU – “Miratorg Zapad” (Kaliningrad, included in APH “Miratorg”) started production of chicken fingers for the restaurant chain Burger King, said the press service of the company.
“In June, “Miratorg starts production and supply of sticks of chicken for the restaurant chain Burger King. This production is made of raw materials of own production, which comes with the meat processing enterprise “Miratorg” in the Bryansk region,” – said in a press release. The company did not specify details of the contract, citing commercial secrecy.
Previously, “Miratorg” has already supplied the Burger King chicken and beef patties. By the end of 2015, the holding is expected to increase the supply of these products more than 5 times compared to 2014, when this volume was about 450 tons.
By the end of 2016, the holding company reported that increased production of semi-finished products at its plant in Kaliningrad on the 27% to 43 thousand tons, and significantly expanded the supply of products for the food service market, signing a strategic contract with restaurant chain Burger King. The manufacturer guaranteed delivery of agreed volumes of semi-finished products for five years.
“Miratorg Zapad” – the largest Russian producer of frozen meat products with an installed capacity of 80 thousand tons of products per year. The company produces over 150 products and is the supplier of international chain restaurants in Russia. The plant is also approved for export to foreign markets. At present “Miratorg” in Kaliningrad produces products on 5 production lines.
