Moscow. June 7. INTERFAX.RU – restaurant holding company AmRest agreed to acquire 21 KFC restaurant in Russia.
The agreement of intent was signed by the Russian “daughter” of the company Amrest, OOO – franchising and partner network in Russia Svetlana Popova.
The transaction is expected to close within two months, its amount is not disclosed, the report said AmRest. The deal will also require approval from the regulator.
Currently under the management of AmRest is 120 KFC restaurants in Russia. Estimation of sales of the acquired restaurants 1,376 billion roubles in 2016.
AmRest restaurant company operating on the market of Central and Eastern Europe as well as India and China. The company is the franchise partner of Yum! Brands that owns the brands KFC and PizzaHut. In addition to these networks, AmRest also operates restaurants, Burger King, La Tagliatella and Starbukcs.
