Moscow. June 7. INTERFAX.RU – Deputies in the Duma introduced a bill to expand insurance contributions of small business in all banks. The text of the bill published in the electronic database of documents of the lower house of Parliament.
It is assumed that the contributions of micro and small businesses will be insured within 1.4 million rubles. According to the document, the insured will be the contributions of micro and small enterprises, which belong to these in accordance with the law “About development of small and medium entrepreneurship”.
The insurance deposits in rubles and foreign currency placed by micro-and small enterprises in banks on the territory of the Russian Federation on the basis of the Bank Deposit contract or Bank account contract.
If the bill passes three readings, it will enter into force on 1 January 2018.
As previously reported, the idea of extending Deposit insurance to all banks to SMEs was supported by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, Bank of Russia and Agency on insurance of contributions (ASV).
Currently, in the case of revocation of Bank licenses are subject to insurance-only funds placed in Bank accounts of physical persons and individual entrepreneurs. “However, small businesses typically having one current account in a small Bank with several hundred thousand rubles on it, remain unprotected and inevitably become bankrupt or facing serious financial problems”, – stated in the explanatory note to the bill.
