Moscow. June 14. INTERFAX.RU – the Economic court of Kiev decided to collect 79,877 million hryvnia ($3 million) of dividends “Gaztranzit” (Kiev, partly owned by “Gazprom”) within enforcement from a Russian company to a fine of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. A decision of the court of June 6 published in the state register of Ukraine.
In January 2016, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine adopted a decision to fine Gazprom for 85 billion. for abuse of a monopoly position in the market of transit of natural gas Ukraine. Then this decision was confirmed several times by the Ukrainian courts.
Once again 22 February 2017 Kyiv economic court of appeal upheld the decision of the lower court’s confirmation of foreclosure with “Gazprom” of a fine, which has grown to 172 billion. due to penalties for its nonpayment. The economic court of Kiev on 17 March decided to collect this sum from a Russian company on the basis of enforceable judicial decisions.
AMC 11 April this year sent to the State Executive service statement about opening of enforcement proceedings enforcement proceedings with Gazprom 172 billion. The state Executive service of Ukraine in may has opened proceedings for the recovery of a fine and seizure of property “Gazprom” in the country.
In “Gazprom” on may 31 said that the AMC in April 2017 was sent to the Department of state Executive service of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine the requirement about compulsory collecting with “Gazprom” 171,9 billion. (about $6 billion). “Gazprom” may 12, received through the representative office in Kyiv of the decision of the Department of state Executive service of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine on opening of Executive production of $ 189,125 billion UAH. including the amount of the Executive fee 17,193 billion UAH. and seizure of shares of JSC “Gaztranzit”.
“Gazprom” and “Naftogaz” owns 40,2174% of shares of “Gaztranzit”, 19,5652% of the shares of the Turkish company Turusgas.
“Gaztranzit” was established in November 1997 with the aim of increasing the capacity of Ukraine’s gas transit system to increase transit of Russian natural gas to Turkey and Balkan countries. The company is implementing a project to increase the capacity of the main gas pipeline Ananiev-Tiraspol-Izmail, which passes on the territory of Odessa region and Moldova.
According to reports “Gaztranzit” in 2015, the company owns fixed assets in the amount of 423,505 million UAH. including buildings and structures on 409,625 million.
In 2015 PJSC net profit 64.6% compared to 2014 year – up to 611,407 million UAH. net income – by 62.4%, to 758,415 million. The official exchange rate for June 14 – 26 UAH/$1.
