Subsistence minimum for the first quarter of 2017 amounted to 9 thousand 909 roubles


MOSCOW, June 22. /TASS/. The Russian government approved the living wage in the whole of Russia per capita in the I quarter of 2017 level 9 909 thousand rubles. The corresponding decree of the Cabinet of Ministers published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

In the fourth quarter of 2016, the figure was 9 691 thousand rubles.

According to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, the subsistence minimum for able-bodied population amounted to 10 thousand 701 rubles (increase of 235 rubles), for pensioners – 8 thousand 178 roubles (an increase of 178 rubles), for children – 9 756 thousand rubles (an increase of 322 rubles).

The subsistence minimum is used for the calculation of the level of support for certain population groups, in particular, to provide social assistance to the indigent, for the payment of monthly child allowance for payments for the third child, calculate sideplate to pensions.

For these purposes, is taken into account the subsistence minimum in Russia as a whole and in each individual region.
