Moscow. July 3. INTERFAX.RU IN the Kremlin consider that the outflow of foreign capital from Russia due to the market situation, and emphasize that the dispute between “Rosneft” and AFK “System” has no effect on the investment climate in the country.
“This is a volatile and cyclical process (the inflows and outflows of foreign capital). With regard to those proceedings, it occurs exclusively in the judicial plane, and it is irrelevant to the investment climate in our country”, – said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov on Monday.
Thus he commented on the estimates of the analysts of “Renaissance Capital”, according to which foreign investors over the last four months brought a record amount – $1.5 billion. Analysts attribute this process to the complication of relations between Russia and the USA, and also with the corporate conflict between “Rosneft” and AFK “System”.
“We continue to believe that a certain volatility is always possible. Capital freely comes in and out freely. This is largely conjunctural factors. To replace one process with others coming depending on when certain investment options become more attractive for investors”, – said the press Secretary of the President.
