Moscow. July 6. INTERFAX.RU Service flow free ads Yula integrated database of goods in a social network “Schoolmates”, reported “Interfax” in Mail.ru Group. The integration will synchronize the database of products “Yuly” in oak and in the service, thereby increasing the scope for posted by user ads – ad that appears in the “Classmates” becomes available in “Julia” and Vice versa. The social network does not give estimates of how the new service will be popular among users.
Currently, the “whirligig” is an advertising service that allows to find and offer the products of different categories in the vicinity of the user (using geolocation).
These functions will have a new section in the “Classmates”. A link located under the profile picture. Now the service is available only in the web version of the social network. In the future, the section with the ads will appear in the application “Classmates” for iOS and Android. Until the end of the year OK will be introduced and the function of online payment of goods found by users using the service “Yula”.
To use the service are residents of 14 cities of Russia (Saint-Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga, Kazan, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk and Khabarovsk), in the near future, placing and search of advertisements will be open to all Russian users of the social network.
The ability to place items in groups appeared in the “Classmates” in 2016. The company notes that since the end of last year in the social network was published about 2 million ads. According to the head of the “Classmates” Anton Fedchin provided in the message, since the beginning of the year, the number of goods, monthly downloadable in OK, grew up in 3 times.
According to April 2017, the number of monthly users “Yuly” reached 16.6 million people. According to own data the social network “Odnoklassniki” for may of this year, the total number of monthly users of the social network is 71 million unique users. The number of registered users worldwide at the end of 2016 amounted to 290 million.
