INTERFAX.RU – world Bank President Jim Yong Kim and senior adviser to the President of the United States Ivanka trump during the G20 summit in Hamburg has officially announced the launch of the Fund of Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi), which focuses on programs to support women entrepreneurs in developing countries, reports on Saturday Agency Associated Press.
“This is not a small project,” said Jim Yong Kim, adding that over time, this initiative will contribute to the growth of the world economy.
According to him, about $325 million Fund pledged by the governments of Germany, Canada, USA, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and other countries.
The programme will focus on support, education and training, as well as the financing and provision of loans based women businesses in developing countries.
