Huawei began selling in Russia a new budget smartphone Y3 2017

Moscow. July 11. INTERFAX.RU China Huawei Techologies Co. the beginning of sales of the new smartphone Y3 2017 in Russia, according to a press release from the company.

The device has a screen diagonal of 5 inches (12.7 centimeters) and a resolution of 854×480 pixels, the main camera on 8 megapixels, 4-core processor Cortex A7 with a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and an onboard storage of 8 GB, and battery capacity 2200 mA/h. If necessary, the internal memory can be expanded using microSD cards of up to 32GB.

In Russia the smartphone is available in gold and grey color options corps.

This budget model (the recommended price of 5.99 thousand rubles) came to replace Huawei Y3II, released last spring.

According to Gartner, in the first quarter, the share of Huawei in the global smartphone market stood at 9%, and it ranked third in the world on this indicator after the South Korean company Samsung (20.7 per cent) and Apple (13.7 percent).
