Moscow. July 14. INTERFAX.RU US Dollar and Euro are rising at the opening of trading on the Moscow stock exchange on Friday, the ruble declines against the currency basket on the background of relatively stable oil prices.
The first transactions in US dollar were in the range 59,81-of 59.95 rubles/$1, at the end of the first minute of trading, the rate was 59,92 RUB/$1 (+9.75 cents to the previous closing). The Euro rose to 68.4 rubles/EUR1 (+22 cents), the value of the currency basket rose by 15.26 pennies compared to the closing level on Thursday, before 63,74 ruble.
The dollar has been by 26.36 kopecks below the level of the current official exchange rate of the Euro – 41,39 kopecks below the official rate.
According to experts of “Interfax-CEA”, the ruble falls slightly against the dollar and the Euro amid relatively stable oil prices, following the increased volatility of the previous trading session. Quotations of” black gold” slightly increase thanks to a report from the International energy Agency (IEA), doubting that the rebalancing of the oil market is, as expected, but positive assessment of the increase in world oil demand this year and reported on the reduction of stocks of fuel in developed countries.
September futures for Brent crude on London’s ICE Futures exchange at 10:00 MSK rose 0.1 percent to $48,47 dollars per barrel. Quotes of WTI oil futures for August in electronic trading on the new York Mercantile exchange (NYMEX) on Friday morning has risen on 0,15% – to $46,15 per barrel.
