TASS, July 14. Apple may delay shipments of the new iPhones due to issues related to the development of fingerprint sensor, which must be equipped with new smartphones. It is reported by MarketWatch, citing analysts.
Experts believe that the company will take the start date of supply or begin to sell devices without the function of fingerprint scanning, which could adversely affect the financial performance of Apple in the fourth quarter.
It was expected that supply will begin in September, however, according to analysts Goldman Sachs, the timing can be shifted to September 22, September 29 or on October.
Earlier Bloomberg, citing sources reported that Apple is working on a 3D facial scan, which will allow you to unlock your smartphone without using fingerprints.
