GROZNY, July 27. /TASS/. The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov said he was ready to resign as head of the Chechen Republic and to serve in the security structures of the al-Aqsa mosque on the Temple mount in Jerusalem.

He said this on his official channel in the Telegram.

“My personal suggestion to exclude conflict situations around the Islamic shrines, the al-Aqsa mosque, to transfer all rights to it Jordan. I am ready to resign and serve in the structures that ensure the safety of this Holy Moslem place. To be a volunteer and the rest of my life to protect the al-Aqsa mosque,” – wrote Kadyrov.

The situation in Jerusalem deteriorated sharply after July 14, when three armed Palestinians killed two Israeli soldiers on the Temple mount, where is located the Jewish and Muslim Holy sites. Then the Jewish authorities introduced additional security measures in the area of al-Aqsa mosque, including installed metal detectors at the entrance to the complex.
