Aksenov: the blackout in Crimea did not damage the economy


SIMFEROPOL, July 28. /TASS/. The power supply in the Republic of Crimea did not cause damage to the economy and social sphere, wrote the head of the region Sergey Aksenov on Friday in Facebook.

“Damage to the economy and the social sphere are not. I thank all of the services and, primarily, energy for efficiency”, – he wrote.

According to official figures, 13:55 GMT on Friday passed out four air-lines 220 kV providing power flow to the Crimean power system, which power system of the Crimea and Sevastopol was separated into separate operations with the shortage of power of about 1 thousand MW.

The Minister of fuel and energy of Ukraine Vadim Belik explained to journalists that from-for accidents on the mainland of the Russian Federation Crimea left without electricity. According to the latest data, the light returned to house 80% of the Crimean population.

“The supply of the Crimea resumed in three of the four lines of the power bridge. At the moment the load is 843 MW. In the first place was connected Kerch, Feodosia, Sudak, Simferopol partially. Soon the electricity supply will be fully restored in the Republic”, – said Aksenov.
