Almost a quarter of the shares of “KAMAZ” moved to Russia

KAZAN, August 18. /TASS/. Cyprus Avtoinvest Limited, who owned shares of “KAMAZ”, ceased its participation in the share capital of the company. This was reported by the press service of “KAMAZ”.

“The new owner of 23.54% of shares of “KAMAZ” is open company “Avtoinvest”. Therefore, this stake was transferred to Russian jurisdiction,” – said in the message.

According to SPARK, “Avtoinvest”, registered in 2015 in Moscow, is engaged in the provision of financial services. A company is owned by Pearson Holdings Limited (50% registered in Belize), General Director of “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin (he owns 30%) and Noelia Holdings Limited (20%, British virgin Islands).

The largest shareholder of KAMAZ is GC “rostech” (it controls 49.9 percent). Among other shareholders – German carmaker Daimler (15%), the American KAMAZ International Management (4,25%), JSC “Financial leasing company “KAMAZ” (3.72 per cent) and Cyprus Decodelement Services Limited (2,73%).

“KamAZ” occupies the 16th place among the world’s leading manufacturers of heavy trucks and the eighth place in the world in terms of production of diesel engines. Part of the process chain group includes 11 major automobile manufacturing plants and units of the auxiliary cycle.
