MOSCOW, August 24. /TASS/. Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev ordered to allocate from the Federal budget in 2017-2018 to 535 million roubles for KAMAZ trucks for the world food programme (WFP). This was reported on Thursday on the website of the Cabinet.
As noted in the help document, in accordance with the agreement on strategic partnership between the Russian government and the UN WFP in 2014 Russia makes contributions to the Fund, focusing, in particular, to increase the vehicle fleet of the runway.
The order provides for the allocation of EMERCOM of Russia to 535 million rubles “to the implementation as a contribution of the Russian Federation in kind to the Fund of world food programme deliveries of KAMAZ trucks, trailers, mobile classrooms, spare parts kits, as well as providing warranty service of the supplied equipment”.
In addition, the document assumes allocation of the Ministry of Finance up to $1.5 million for the payment of the target contribution to the Fund runway “for logistic development, including the integration of KAMAZ trucks in the regional parks trucks of the world food programme”.
The help notes that the decisions to expand the range of areas of Russia’s cooperation with international humanitarian organizations of the UN system and the involvement of Russian technicians in the activities of WFP staff training, and warranty maintenance of machines.
