FT: China CEFC can this week to announce investments in Rosneft

TASS, 6 September. Chinese CEFC energy company this week to announce the investment in Rosneft, writes the British newspaper Financial Times, citing sources.

September 3, Rosneft and the CEFC has signed a strategic cooperation agreement and a long-term contract for the supply of oil. The strategic cooperation agreement provides for the implementation of joint projects in the field of exploration and production in Western and Eastern Siberia. The agreement also provides for cooperation between companies in areas such as refining and petrochemicals, trade of oil and oil products.

In early July, Rosneft and the CEFC has also signed a strategic cooperation agreement, which provides for the option for the Chinese Corporation for the acquisition of a stake in the retail business of “Rosneft”. The document was signed during the official visit of President XI Jinping to Moscow.
