Poroshenko announced the deployment of Ukraine’s bonds for $3 billion


KIEV, September 18. /TASS/. The Ministry of Finance successfully completed its offering of international bonds for $3 billion, On Monday announced the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who arrived in new York.

“Ukraine has entered the debt market and raised $3 billion, brought in a record time of 15 years. This extremely positive assessment by investors of the reforms. If the previous paper, short paper, cost of 7.75%, then to date, and the price is reduced to 7.5%”, – he said.

According to him, the placement of securities involved banks BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. Repayment will take place in four equal tranches in 2031 and 2032.

The President stressed that Ukraine for the first time in the last three years have entered the markets of sovereign borrowing.
