Putin said the Russian economy out of recession

Moscow. September 21. INTERFAX.RU – the Russian economy is gaining momentum, despite the external constraints, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“I must say that, despite the known limitations, including, outdoor, Russia’s economy stabiliziruemost, it is, as you know, now quite obvious to say out of recession, gaining momentum for several quarters in a row showing growth,” – said Putin at a meeting with representatives of the business community on Thursday.

According to him, if in the first quarter, GDP increased by 0.5% in the second, the growth rate of the economy was 2.5%, while investments grew by 6.3%, the “maximum value since the second quarter of 2012.”

Putin said about the other positive economic indicators.

“It is important to maintain these positive trends. I’m with you, in fact, wanted on this subject and to talk, referring to the persistent external constraints and even the threat of their expansion. I would like to hear your opinion on this, your estimates, proposals,” – said the President.

Putin on Thursday held a meeting with representatives of Russian business circles and associations: the Kremlin invited more than 50 businessmen, heads of leading private companies and state-owned companies, banks, social organizations, announced earlier in the Kremlin.
