Volodin called for an objective discussion of the events in Ukraine

MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. Speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin urged to objectively discuss the processes taking place in Ukraine, and not to gloss over the real situation.

“The processes that occur in Ukraine, require an objective discussion. Many countries ignore the situation in Ukraine”, – he said Tuesday at a meeting with the special representative of the French government on issues of relations with Russia Jean-Pierre Sevenman.

According to Volodin, to power in Ukraine in the coup of 2014 has come “extremist forces”. “It was a revolution, otherwise it is impossible to call those events when the elected President of Ukraine [Viktor Yanukovych] does not simply expelled from the country, and was a threat to its security. As a result of this coup came to power extremist forces,” – said the head of the lower house of the Russian Parliament.

Thus Volodin has noticed that Ukraine for Russia “brotherly country”. “Our brothers live there. All are closely intertwined. That’s why we are experiencing the events that take place there”, – concluded the politician.
