MOSCOW, 8 November. /TASS/. The Kremlin believes that in the case of adoption Kiev’s decision on the rupture of diplomatic relations with Moscow, it will cause damage to the interests of the citizens of both countries and will hurt the settlement in the South-East of Ukraine. “If this decision [about the rupture of diplomatic relations with Russia] will be made [Ukraine] this time, this can further complicate the situation, and most importantly – it will cause damage to the interests of people both in Ukraine and in Russia”, – said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
He added that such a decision – “of course, a sovereign affair of Ukraine”. He recalled that in Kiev “in recent years has made many decisions that had negative consequences for the settlement of the conflict in the South-East of the country.”
The representative of the Kremlin did not answer the question about who in this case could be a mediator between Moscow and Kiev, calling it a “hypothetical reasoning”.
Earlier media reported that the bill on the reintegration of Donbass, which is discussed in the Verkhovna Rada, the alleged amendment of the severance of diplomatic relations with Russia. However, the head of Committee on security of the Ukrainian Parliament Serhiy Pashinsky that such matters are not within the purview of Parliament, and such amendments to the bill on the reintegration of Donbass in Parliament has not been amended. Deputy Ivan Vinnik, which the media attributed the authorship of the amendment, also has denied in an interview with TV channel “112.Ukraine” the message about making suggestions about the rupture of diplomatic relations with Russia. According to winnick, the amendment “can not appear, because over the term of submission of amendments.”
