Sands chose not to comment on the situation in Lugansk

SOCHI, November 23. /TASS/. Press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov did not comment on what is happening in Lugansk.

“I will leave unanswered your question. Some nuances would not sound,” he said, when asked by journalists to assess the events in Lugansk.

On Wednesday, the press Secretary of the Russian President reported that the Kremlin is watching what is happening in this city. It was limited to comment that in the Kremlin there is an understanding of what forces might be behind the deteriorating situation there.

On Tuesday, the head proclaimed Lugansk people’s Republic Igor Carpenter made a statement about the situation in Lugansk, where residents “could see a large number of people in uniform who claim to participate in the exercises by order of the Ministry of internal Affairs of LNR”. He called the situation “a continuation of the staffing changes for the legal removal from office of the Minister of internal Affairs.” Carpenter assured that “the situation is under control of the management of the LC and will soon be fully solved.”
