SOCHI, November 23. /TASS/. The convening of the Congress of national dialogue Syria will be held after the expert reconciliation participants. The journalists said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
“There is a strong consensus that Congress will soon be convened, this will be preceded by intensive work at the expert level on the harmonization of the lists of participants of this Congress, – said Peskov. It is obvious that this list should be as inclusive, for a viable formula for political dialogue can be achieved only through the participation of the widest possible representation of all represented in Syria [groups]”.
Talking about the approved on Wednesday a joint statement of the presidents of Russia, Iran and Turkey, the Kremlin spokesman stressed that it was “not a Protocol of intentions, it is absolutely clear position”. This Peskov said that the Kremlin is aware of the existence of specific reservations by the Turkish partners in relation to those forces, which they believe pose a threat to its national security. “But that does not mean that the work will not be carried out. We now have a very stressful expert work on the harmonization and reconciliation of lists. Peskov also said that to talk about the creation of the Committee for the drafting of the Constitution of Syria is premature.
On Wednesday, the leaders of Russia, Iran and Turkey for the trilateral summit in Sochi instructed to elaborate further on the composition and terms of carrying out in Sochi in the near future Congress of the Syrian national dialogue.
