MOSCOW, December 31. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has set a new maximum number of staff of internal Affairs bodies of the Russian Federation, reducing it to 10 thousand people. The corresponding decree was published Sunday on the official Internet portal of legal information.
“To set 1 January 2018 the maximum number of staff of internal Affairs bodies of the Russian Federation (without the personnel on protection and service of buildings) funded from budgetary appropriations of the Federal budget, in the amount of 894 871, including employees of internal Affairs bodies of the Russian Federation in the amount of 746 859 employees, Federal state civil servants – 17 of 199 people, workers – 130 of 813 people,” – stated in the decree.
Changes in the presidential decree “On some issues of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation” dated 5 may 2014, which provided for the setting of a maximum number of staff excluding staff on protection and service of buildings in the amount of 904 871 units.
