Joint statement of the presidents of Russia and Argentina after talks in Moscow


Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri held talks in Moscow. The heads of state discussed the issues of development of bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as international issues.

Following the meeting, Vladimir Putin and Mauricio Macri signed a joint statement.

This is the first official visit by an Argentine leader to Russia. During the trip, Macri accompanied by the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Republic Jorge Fori and the Secretary for strategic Affairs Fulvio Pompeo.
