The voters in the elections of the President of the Russian Federation will be able to learn about the candidates from posters and booklets


MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS./ Information about the candidates applying for the post of President of the Russian Federation, will be contained in posters, and special booklets that on the day of the presidential elections will be at all polling stations in the country. This was announced on Wednesday at a meeting of the CEC of the Russian Federation the Chairman of the Commission, Ella Pamfilova.

The members of the CEC approved the content of the information poster with the details of the candidates such posters will be posted at all polling stations. As in the Bulletin, the candidates will be listed in alphabetical order, next to each name is a colored photograph. Also on the poster posted agreed with the candidates biographical information, data on income and property, as well as data about the unreliability of this information, identified by the CEC. Candidates with such information, according to Permilovo, four.

The head of the CEC expressed the view that the text of the poster is quite small. “So that all can read, we have provided below in each area, in addition to the poster [was] such a welcome brochure, where a large font for the visually impaired will be repeated same, but in a large size – picture, biography, all data that is laid,” – said Pamfilova.

In her opinion, this will allow everyone “to read” and read the information about the candidates. “I decided to do it on the basis of the rights of our voters to complete inform” – said the CEC Chairman.

The Russian presidential election will be held on 18 March. The election is contested by eight candidates.
