Peskov called “complete nonsense” version of the recruitment Savchenko by the Russian intelligence services


MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. The version according to which the Verkhovna Rada Hope Savchenko was recruited by Russian secret services in prison in Russia, is “complete nonsense”. This was stated press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov in interview to TV channel “Mir 24”.

“This is probably the version the Brits, they love to name such versions. Of course, this is nonsense. Savchenko is a deeply internal affair of Ukraine”, – he said.

Peskov also asked whether it made “any statement of the European leaders demanding that Kiev be given the freedom of Savchenko”.

The Verkhovna Rada on March 22 granted the attorney General and removed parliamentary immunity from Savchenko, her detained. Immediately thereafter she was taken to a detention center. On Friday, a court in Kiev has considered her case and decided Savchenko until may 20, without the right to bail. Deputy charged with plotting a coup and terrorist attacks in Ukraine.
