Zakharova called the expulsion of Russian diplomats pursuing Russophobia

MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. The decision on mass expulsion of Russian diplomats is a continuation of the policy of the West for the blatant Russophobia. This was declared on Tuesday to journalists the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

According to her, in aggregate, US, UK and several EU countries have sent about a hundred Russian diplomats. “Of course, the beneficiary of are London and Washington, so the rate on this blatant Russophobia continues,” – said Zakharov.

“To be given an adequate response to all the actions that we see from the United States and the European Union, – said the diplomat. – We are talking about the expulsion of Russian diplomats and the closure of the Consulate General [in Seattle]”.

Zakharov stressed that Britain still did not provide Russia information on the administration of ex-GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia. “We demand the UK to provide all available information on the case, the diplomat said. – To date, London has received zero information to Russia about what happened.”

“Perhaps the data is just not published, because nothing but political slogans, no”, – said Zakharov.

The “secret” files

Zakharova also drew attention to the interview of US Ambassador in Russia John Huntsman news Agency TASS, in which the American diplomat did not give the answer to any question on the expulsion of Russian diplomats over the case Skripal.

“He talked about certain materials that are distributed by the British Embassy, and asked the journalists to pay attention to these printouts, – said official representative of Russian foreign Ministry. – So, none of the Russian journalist nor the Russian foreign Ministry does not have these materials. These are some “secret” files do not lend themselves to transparency, we are waiting for these materials.”

“It is shameful, as for the Ambassador of such big powers, appealing data that are not made public”, – said Zakharov.
