Rospotrebnadzor: “McDonald’s” is required to label products sold through the “drive-thru”


MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. The Moscow arbitration court left in force a fine of 550 thousand rubles, discharged the network of restaurants fast food “McDonald’s” in the capital for violations in the sale of products through the Windows “drive-thru” and “Mcexpress”. As reported on Friday on the website Moskovskogo Rospotrebnadzor, the penalty issued for the lack of these products required labelling.

According to authorities, the network shall provide a Declaration of conformity on their products sold through the Windows “drive-thru” and “Mcexpress”, as well as to accompany the products marked with information about the date of manufacture of the product, storage conditions, recommendations and restrictions on its use or the preparation, however, did not. For violations the Agency has appointed “McDonald’s” a fine of 550 thousand RUB Network challenged this decision in Arbitration court of Moscow, however, the court recognized the requirements of the office of legal. “The arbitration court of Moscow refused LLC “McDonald’s” to meet the stated requirements, supported the position of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor of Moscow city and the administrative penalty in the amount of 550 000 rubles will remain in force”, – is spoken in the message.

The Declaration of conformity are not subject products, sold in restaurants, cafes, bars, canteens, eateries and other eating places, but this does not apply to the implementation of the “McDonalds” of the products through the Windows “drive-thru” and “Mcexpress,” said the Agency.

Irregularities in the “McDonald’s” was revealed by employees of management of the results of routine field inspection. The CPS began to inspect chain restaurants for the first time since 2012 in December last year.
