Expert: Digital economy may require an additional 200 billion rubles per year


MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. The implementation of the “Digital economy” may require an additional 200 billion rubles annually for the development of all areas. Such an assessment was expressed by the Director of the Foundation for Internet development initiatives (Fria) Kirill Varlamov in an interview with TASS.

“The numbers are not yet clear: when we believed the investment model industry, we understand that information technology and the telecoms themselves attractive for investment,” – said Varlamov.

To develop all areas stated in the action plan, will need to raise additional 200 billion rubles annually, said the Director of the Foundation.

Program “Digital economy suggests that the implementation of four action plans will require approximately 522 billion. Most will be in the direction of “Information infrastructure” – according to the approved plan of measures on implementation of the plan in this area from the Federal budget allocated 100,46 billion. Of these, almost 2 billion rubles were allocated in 2017 for 27.17 billion roubles will be allocated in 2018, from 33.73 bln in 2019 and of 37.61 billion rubles – in 2020. Also provided funding from extra-budgetary sources in the total 336,1 billion in 2018-2020. Thus, in total up to 2020 it is expected to Finance almost 437 billion.
