KRASNOYARSK, April 13. /TASS/. The document on establishment of the Eurasian counterpart of the Interstate aviation Committee (IAC) is in a high degree of readiness and could be signed in April, told reporters transport Minister Maxim Sokolov on the sidelines of the Krasnoyarsk economic forum.
“If the intergovernmental Council will meet in April, we are preparing for this event coordinated by many members of the Eurasian Union, the document on the establishment of the new Eurasian POPPY. It is in high degree of readiness, worked out at the expert level, I am in contact with my fellow Ministers, and to complete the domestic procedures in each of the countries-participants,” he said.
Sokolov reminded that the document is open: it can be signed by between five and among fewer States. “Then it can join, as we have agreed, as members of the Eurasian Union and other States, if deemed these terms acceptable,” he said.
Earlier Sokolov said that the creation of such a body in the framework of the EEU due to the fact that the format of the Interstate aviation Committee does not allow us to make decisions by way of consensus.
