Medvedev ordered before 30 November to begin testing the technology of unmanned vehicles


MOSCOW, may 4. /TASS/. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed until 30 November to begin testing the technology of unmanned vehicles on the highway M-11 “Moscow – Saint-Petersburg”. According to the official website of the Cabinet, the instruction was given following the meeting of the Presidium of the Council under the President of Russia on modernization of economy and innovative development, which was held on 24 April 2018.

The state company “Avtodor” has been given until 29 June 2018 to determine the pilot area (or areas) high-speed highway M-11 “Moscow – Saint-Petersburg” up to 30 November 2018, with the participation of the Agency for strategic initiatives and the working group on the development and implementation of the road map “Avtonet” National technology initiative to begin testing technologies and infrastructure for the movement of unmanned, connected and electric vehicles. “Federal road Agency until 29 June 2018 to determine the pilot area (area) roads (roads) and 30 November 2018 with the participation of the Agency for strategic initiatives and the working group on the development and implementation of the road map “Avtonet” National technology initiative to begin testing technologies and infrastructure for the movement of unmanned, connected and electric transport”, – stated in the instructions.
