NOVO-OGARYOVO, August 2. /TASS/. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin held a meeting with permanent members of the security Council.
As reported a press-service of the Kremlin, “discussed the international contacts of the head of state with leaders of member countries of BRICS, as well as contacts held on the sidelines of the BRICS summit”. The President during the summit held several meetings in particular with the President of Turkey.
The meeting also touched upon “topical issues of socio-economic development of Russia”.
Before the meeting, Putin congratulated servicemen and veterans of the airborne forces on their professional holiday.
The meeting was attended by the head of the government Dmitry Medvedev, defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, state Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino, security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, head of FSB and SVR, Alexander Bortnikov, and Sergei Naryshkin.
