Community “Vkontakte” were included in the unified register of prohibited information because they contained illegal information, which could potentially result in locking the whole social network for users of some providers.

According to authorities, five groups of “Vkontakte” entered in the unified register of prohibited information by the court decision because they contained propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations among adolescents.
Roskomnadzor said that the names of these communities and their content is clearly aimed at children and teenagers.
The inside also contains unlawful information — in particular, explicit images of sexual relationships and ads about Dating with Teens, according to the Agency.
Prohibited information should be removed from the pages of “Vkontakte” within three working days.
If this happens, operators will be forced to block these pages, and some of them have no ability to restrict access by separate links. In this case they will have to block the entire site.
