Medvedev: the IFC will support small and medium-sized businesses


The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that the centres, which are already in many regions, “have acquitted themselves well”.

SLIDES, 12 Oct. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree that allows multi-function centres (MFCS) to assist the enterprises of small and average business.

“The first (question) relates to support for small businesses, we continue this work. Created Federal Corporation for the development of small and medium enterprises, now the Corporation could provide its services through DCP”, — Medvedev said at a meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers on Monday.

He noted that he had signed the corresponding decree.

“(It) makes changes to the work of the MFC. Connecting these centers, and they have acquitted themselves well, they do work in almost all the regions and take the brunt of communication. Will, I think, useful in that capacity. Now the IFC will support small and medium business”, — said the Prime Minister.

He expressed the hope that this innovation will allow to reduce terms of delivery of services to entrepreneurs.
