Militia LNR, now Deputy Minister of health declared Lugansk people’s Republic Igor Solyanik said at the interrogation in the trial of former Ukrainian army Hope Savchenko, which heard how she called herself an artillery spotter, in which, according to the investigation, killed the Russian journalists.

“The attacks were conducted from 6:00 PM local time. Initially, the attack was chaotic. Later the shelling became more accurate, aligned on our positions. The third attack was at about 13:00. Savchenko was taken prisoner not me. When I saw her, she was dressed in a camouflage uniform with a blue scarf with yellow inscriptions. She said she is not a sniper, and the operator of the helicopter, shooter and spotter fire,” said Solyanik.
According to him, he, along with co-workers handed Savchenko and other captive in the battalion “Zarya” and later found out that as a result of shelling were killed Russian journalists.
Consideration on the merits of Nadezhda Savchenko in the Donetsk city court began on 22 September.
The case of former Ukrainian army
