KIEV, October 12. Ukraine from October 25 to completely stop air service to Russia, a ban on all fall flights of the Russian airline. This was announced by the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine.
“The state aviation service of Ukraine took a decision on complete termination of air communication between Ukraine and the Russian Federation since 25 October 2015”, – stated in the message.
Earlier sanctions were not related to the number of Russian airlines.
In a statement the Ministry says that this decision was made due to “failure to provide a response from the Federal Agency of air transport of the Russian Federation (Rosaviatsia) with the reasons of restriction of flights of the Ukrainian airlines”.
“This measure will be applied to all Russian airlines, and will be valid until the lifting of a ban imposed by the aviation authorities of the Russian Federation in relation to the Ukrainian airlines. After the lifting of a ban by the Russian side of the Russian airlines that are not included in the sanction list (for flights in the Crimea – approx. Corr.), will be able to operate flights to Ukraine”, – said the Ministry of infrastructure.

Previously, about 20 Russian companies included in the sanction lists of the Ukrainian authorities, which will be effective from October 25.
